Families and Players: We are into week two of the Spring / Summer schedule. What a great weekend of weather for everyone. Earlier today I sent out a message with regard to the games today. I did double book a spring league and summer league and I did so because of the amount of passion and commitment you all showed to the program this past year. I wanted to accommodate for all those in spring sports and end of the year events. We will make it work. We are on the rise and for every bump or bruise, it comes at the price of creating success. If you know anyone else that should be on the list, or can forward to them, I encourage all to participate. LAST WEEK: Our Varsity Gold had a good run but lost both games in OT and down the stretch. After being down by more than 10 in both games, Varsity Gold came back and took control of games until the last minute. Marcus Lee twisted his ankle in the first game and everyone rallied to fight. Caleb Selensky threw up a shot for the ages behind his back for three that was a serious highlight. As a new group it was exciting to see all the hard work in the weight room pay off. The BALLIN' CLUB was excited to have listeners last week. We have had a ton of good feedback. We are excited to create new and fun fund raising activities. Stay tuned for the next meeting date and news. THE NEXT TWO WEEKS! Complete schedule: https://drive.google.com/open?d=1AjnBs190XnsOOpKk0PdhkEzSOAPzWNznW6Iv4TTRNmE

It took a couple years if not a few, four, or five, but now, the foundation has been set. We put a foundation down last year about expectations of the player, the student, the community, parent, and coaches. We will continue to do so. One parent did make a comment that my schedule may be too ambitious. I agree, it is very ambitious. I have high expectations. We believe it to not be ambitious but OPPORTUNISTIC. The state title team, Kaukauna, has plenty of opportunities. Look at their website and expectations. Creating a similar environment, culture, and adventurous OPPORTUNITIES should lead to the same success to carry the community to great heights. http://www.kaukaunaboyshoopsclub.com/summer-basketball Have a great end to the school year!!! See you all soon!
